Coming to the home stretch of medical school, Dr. Bailey cannot wait to start residency in OB/GYN, which is the field she loves. Sadly, she experiences another setback that leaves her questioning her calling to medicine.
Josianne Bailey, MD, MBA, is a Loma Linda School of Medicine graduate who is a PGY-3 in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Loma Linda University. She is pursing a future as a hospitalist and clinician, as well as continuing to use her side hobby of music to share God’s love. Her journey through medicine has had its mountains and valleys, which she is now grateful for as it has given her the heart to better understand the trials and suffering of her patients.
